Sonic Lost World is a game that I feel gets dumped on way too harshly. It was not always that way and all the cool kids would insist that Sonic sucked and there were no good Sonic games since the days of the Mega Drive.
Well, Sonic for me has always been cool and he has far more good games under his belt than bad ones and this is most certainly not a bad game. Sonic Lost World does actually try really hard to tell a decent story and I think that it is pretty decent for the most part.
